Fire crews received reports of a blaze at 1 a.m. and found smoke pouring from a small home at 1428 Chino St. Fire officials said crews staged an aggressive attack and doused the flames by 1:16 a.m.
No residents were home at the time of the incident, and firefighters had to force their way into the residence. The fire was contained to a bedroom, although smoke damage affected the entire home.
Authorities said no injuries were reported to firefighters or residents, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
