On Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 20:24, two ladder trucks, one fire engine, and one rescue ambulance of Bullhead City Fire firefighters responded to a reported residential structure fire under the direction of Battalion Chief Greg Raymond.
Arriving firefighters immediately began an interior fire attack. Chief Raymond coordinated a simultaneous aggressive attack of the fire from the exterior rear of the residence. The lone resident and a friend were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. Neither individual required transport to the hospital.
The fire was contained to the rear of the home with some smoke and heat damage throughout the interior.
There were no injuries to fire fighters.
Fire investigator John Jones was called to the scene for investigation. After speaking to the owner and reviewing evidence it appears the fire was an accidental fire caused by unsafe usage of an outdoor bar-b-q.
This was a single wide mobile home with additions and patios. Also what appeared to be the start of a basement.
