Los Angeles police detectives are trying to determine the identity of a body found early Tuesday in the back of a burning car in Studio City.
Firefighters responding to a call at 3:07 a.m. found the car engulfed in flames on Radford Avenue under the 101 Freeway overpass, said Officer Bruce Borihanh, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Firefighters found human remains in the rear of the four-door sedan and contacted police, Borihanh said.
The LAPD is classifying the death as “suspicious in nature,” Borihanh said.
