SACRAMENTO – Sac Metro and City firefighters were called to the scene of an apartment fire at 2288 University Ave in the Sierra Oaks area of Sacramento Wednesday morning.
Sacramento Fire Dept. dispatch confirmed the building and the roof had caught fire.
No information was provided on how the fire started, whether anyone was still inside the building, or when firefighters expected to extinguish the blaze.
