Two injured in four-alarm blaze in SF’s Portola District

The structure fire in San Francisco’s Portola neighborhood being fed by an open PG&E natural gas line went to four alarms early Tuesday evening after injuring two people, but crews were eventually able to turn off the gas main.

The blaze was reported at 3:47 p.m. in the 2800 block of San Bruno Avenue, a fire dispatcher said.
