At 8 a.m. that day, calls for fires, traffic crashes and other emergencies stopped being routed to Cal Fire dispatchers in the county, and instead were routed to another dispatch center behind Mooney Grove Park in Visalia, making the start of the newly-formed Tulare County Fire Department.
