Firefighters battle 2 fires in Northern California

Firefighters were battling two blazes in Northern California on Sunday that have burned almost 31,000 acres since they started earlier this month.

The Robbers Fire in Placer County has burned 2,400 acres northwest of Foresthill and destroyed one home, according to state officials. One hundred and seventy structures are still in danger, and 12 firefighters have been injured battling the blaze, which is 30% contained. The fire has been burning since Wednesday, and investigators are still trying to determine the cause.
