A Cal Fire firefighter was seriously injured while fighting the Penn Fire in Murphys Wednesday when he was struck by a woman driving down Skunk Ranch Road, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol.
Nathan Fyock, 39, Modesto, was hospitalized and with major injuries Wednesday night, according to Mario Hernandez, Cal Fire battalion chief.
