Students escape after apartments catch fire

Wildfires aren’t the only flare-ups affecting Chico State students this month.

Two separate fires at two different apartment complexes have recently caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, Chico fire inspector Marie Fickert said.

The causes of both fires are still unknown, Fickert said.
