Fire officials Friday continued investigating two brush fires that broke out Thursday along west Highway 118 in Simi Valley.
A total of 31 acres burned in two locations. One fire started at westbound Highway 118 and Kuehner Drive. County firefighters also battled a grass and brush blaze between Kuehner Drive and Yosemite Avenue, said Ventura County Fire Department spokesman Bill Nash
