Firefighters from Riverside and surrounding agencies contained a wildfire in the Santa Ana River that ended up scorching 20 acres of thick vegetation.
Two firefighters were injured fighting the blaze, said Riverside fire Division Chief Bob Bock by telephone from the scene. One suffered heat exhaustion and was taken to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment.
