Tonight we had a traffic collision on Mill Street. Colton Fire dept. responded and gave us a hand with patient care and extrication. The call came in as a two vehicle head on T/C. When we arrived we found a sedan which had collided with a pick-up truck. It was a messy scene with debris all over the road. We responded in our Rescue unit and performed an extrication operation with removal of the crash victim in just 5 minutes.

We had just finished up our training for the day when we received a tap for a structure fire on 48th street. Dispatch came over and told us they had multiple calls. I was on the Truck today. When we arrived on scene we saw that the fire was well involved and in multiple rooms. It was pretty obvious it was burning in the attic also. We were able to quickly get our truck ops under way. We had to cut a total of three vent holes to get the thing cleared out. The Engine crews did a great job of knocking this one down fast.  Another job well done by San Bernardino Firefighters.   Â
