New Jersey Firefighter Dies While Battling House Fire

Our condolences go out to the family of Firefighter Barrett of the West Milford Township fire department.

Firefighter Barrett was working a hose line at a residential structure fire when he collapsed from a cause still under investigation. All attempts to revive Barrett while at the scene, en-route to and at the hospital were unsuccessful. The cause of the fire in the unoccupied rancher style residence is under investigation, but believed to have been related to a power outage in the area.
