30 FDNY Firefighters Injured In Manhattan High-Rise Fire

Authorities say a fire in a high-rise apartment building in Manhattan sent 45 people to hospitals. Thirty of the injured are firefighters. FDNY Deputy Chief James Daley says two gravely hurt victims may have tried to use an elevator to escape the building.While the flames engulfed just one apartment, the dense, black smoke seeped throughout the entire building.Investigators are working to determine what started the three-alarm blaze Thursday evening.
