WOOD-RIDGE, NJ: *FATAL* Approx. 11:30 pm 06-12-08 Fire dept. dispatched to a heavily involved house fire at 388 Marlboro Rd., Wood-Ridge. Firefighters were unable to enter fire building due to extremely heavy fire conditions.
Once fire was knocked down, crews located a deceased male victim, believed to be the homeowner, on a sofa in the basement. Cause and origin of the blaze still to be determined pending investigation.
 
Fire is presently labeled as suspicious.
