Fresno Firefighters Fire Attack – Helmet Cam Video

October 10, 2008

Fresno City Firefighters made an excellent stop at a recent structure fire.  As one of the busiest firefighting departments in the state of California, the crews from Fresno demonstrate how important fast and proper hand-line deployment and aggressive quick attacks are to protecting property and saving lives.

Here is a helmet cam video shot by one of the FF’s on Engine 4 at Fresno City Fire. This was an apartment fire that went to a second alarm at Olive Ave and 9th St. Engine 4 was second in and assisted Engine 1 with fire attack.  The fire was blowing and pushing out the second story apartment’s front door on arrival and they had to beat the fire back into the apartment to make an entry.

That’s sweet. Reminds me of Berdoo. Look forward to seeing more helmet cam action.

Good job Fresno!
