On Friday, April 24, 2009 at 15:02, three engine companies of the Bullhead City Firefighters and one rescue ambulance responded to a reported house fire at 1625 Trane Road under the command of Training Division Chief Bill Kinsey.
Arriving firefighters found smoke and flame from the north side of the structure. Firefighters forced entrance through a door and found smoke to the floor. The firefighters aggressively attacked the fire in what appeared to be a living room. The fire was concentrated in the kitchen and living room area.
Firefighters rescued a dog in the home while a cat escaped on its own.
The residents were not home at the time of the fire.
The Bullhead City Police Department closed Trane road to traffic during fire operations.
The Fire Investigation Team was called to the scene; however their investigation was not complete at the time of this report.
