
The Kern County Fire Department doused a building and vehicle fire in Bakersfield Sunday morning.
Firefighters arrived in the 8600 block of South Union and found flames engulfing a building and several vehicles.
Crews quickly attacked the fire and managed to save several other vehicles.
Fire officials say the fire caused $150,000 in damage to the building and several utility vehicles.
But they managed to save $1 million in potential damages.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
