Lake Arrowhead, CA – A multi-level home in the 13900 block of Calgary Drive in Lake Arrowhead sustained major fire and smoke damage from a blaze that was reported at 2:21 p.m. June 25.
A resident of the home was working on a Ford Ranger pick-up when the fire erupted. The male, unidentified by authorities, sustained minor burns.
The fire quickly spread to the garage and upstairs area of the structure with arriving crews reporting the blaze had spread to nearby trees and shrubs and was moving into the San Bernardino National Forest.
Knock down was reported at 2:33 p.m. as units from San Bernardino County Fire in Lake Arrowhead, Crest Forest Fire Engine 26 from Twin Peaks, an ambulance from Running Springs Fire and the U.S Forest Service attacked the fire and kept it from spreading.
