A fire damaged an apartment today in South Los Angeles, but no one was hurt, authorities said.
Firefighters sent to the 200 block of West 47th Street at 5:45 a.m. doused the flames in the two-story building in 19 minutes, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
