WALNUT CREEK — Contra Costa Fire District firefighters quickly contained a one-alarm kitchen blaze at a condominium complex Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 5:08 p.m. at the Keys condo complex in the 400 block of North Civic Drive, fire district spokeswoman Emily Hopkins said. A second alarm response was briefly called but was canceled a few minutes later as the first-arriving firefighters extinguished the blaze at 5:19 p.m.
One or more apartments on either the third or fourth floor were damaged. No one was hurt.
