An overnight fire damages four units at the Alpine Apartments in Fresno.
The buildings were evacuated early Wednesday morning as firefighters worked to stop the fire from spreading.
They estimate the fire caused more than a hundred thousand dollars in damage.
The Alpine Apartments are at Fresno and Ashland near SR-41. No injuries are reported.
Fire Captain Brian Price says, “The cause is still under investigation. Fortunately, the apartments involved in the fire were vacant; unfortunately the two apartments below were not vacant and had to be evacuated.”
