According to Sacramento Metro Fire Capt. Christian Pebbles, investigators will decide whether to treat the fire as an arson case once they have settled that question.

“We have ruled out electrical and natural causes,” Pebbles said.

The fire started around 10:54 p.m. Friday at an apartment complex construction site on 1181 Fulton Avenue, near Cal Expo.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information on the fire may call the Sacramento Metro Arson Tip Line at (916) 859-3775.
