FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — One person is without a home after a fire in Fresno County.

The fire broke out just after midnight at Cedar and Clayton south of Fresno. Fresno County Cal-Fire says someone called 911 reporting the fire. But the caller gave the wrong location and it took a few minutes for firefighters to get to the right address.

When firefighters finally arrived they were able to contain the flames. Half of the home is now destroyed and investigators believe the fire started in the kitchen or bathroom.

The one person living in the home escaped without any injuries.
