Fires hit two Sutter County homes

Fires broke out at two Sutter County houses about three hours apart starting Saturday night. Crews responded at homes in Live Oak at 11:05 p.m. Saturday and then at a Yuba City house at 2:15 a.m. Sunday. Fire departments said both incidents reportedly caused five-figure damage, but no residents or firefighters were reported hurt.
