Man Uses Garden Hose To Save Neighbor’s Burning Home

H.B. apartment fire causes unknown injuries

HUNTINGTON BEACH – Firefighters were called to battle a one-alarm kitchen fire that caused unknown injuries on Sunday afternoon. Officials said eight units, including two ambulances, responded to a call at 3:41 p.m. about a fire at The Cambridge apartment complex in the 17100 block of Bolsa Chica Road on Sunday.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa says a firefighter hospitalized in grave condition after being injured battling a fire in a Hollywood Hills home has been with the department for 38 years.
