Two left homeless after fire destroys home

Fire destroyed a Sun City Palm Desert home Thursday morning, leaving a man and woman homeless, according to Cal Fire. Crews were called to the single-story house near Elenbrook Court and Moorbrook Road at 8:28 a.m. and had the fire knocked down an hour later, according to Cal Fire, which staffs the county fire department.
