LAFD to shut down stations due to $39 million budget deficit

LAFD Major Alarm 2 Doors Down from Fire Station

February 4, 2009

The blaze was reported at 8:34 p.m., at 1070 E. 33rd St., near Central Avenue, Los Angeles Fire spokesman Ron Myers said.  Several people wee seen hanging from the windows. Apparently everyone got out safely, Myers said, although two dogs died in one apartment unit. The fire was knocked out within 23 minutes.
